We want to welcome our newest Bears and their families to the Lipscomb Elementary community!
We hope the checklist below will help guide you as you settle into our school.
to Do NOW and Over the summer:
1. Enroll Your Child(ren).
For the 2026/2027 school year, Kindergarten registration opens on March 16, 2026. Check out the Williamson County School (WCS) Enrollment page for details and important info. If you are new to WCS, you will need to request a Skyward Account in order to enroll your student. Families who have a current WCS student can register a new child in their existing Skyward account. Our district encourages all families to enroll before our Kindergarten Sneak a Peek on April 10th.
Lipscomb will host two times for families who need help with the online platform.
Lipscomb will help parents on March 17th from 9am - 2pm and March 18th from 4-5pm. During these times, parents will have the opportunity to come in and register their child for kindergarten with the assistance of school staff.
2. Join Us for a Sneak Peek into Our Kindergarten Classes on April 10th.
3. Order School Supplies.
Our kindergarten teachers have thoughtfully put together a list of supplies each student will need for the year. To help lighten your load, we offer a free delivery service—your child’s supplies can be delivered straight to their classroom and ready to go on day one! This is a very popular service, and 85% of Lipscomb families order school supply kits. Simply place your order here by June 14th, and your child's supplies will be ready at their desk when they arrive on their first half day of Kindergarten. Enter your home address during checkout, and select the "FREE DELIVERY" shipping option on the final checkout page. Your child's kit will be delivered to their classroom. Extra kits will not be available after June 14th, so be sure to place your order by then. If you prefer to shop for supplies yourself, you can see the Kindergarten supply list by clicking on the second photo in the order link.
4. Order Lipscomb Gear.
Spirit items—like grade-level t-shirts, parent shirts, and accessories—are available on the same website as the school supply kits! We encourage all students to wear their Lipscomb grade-level t-shirts every Friday, as well as on field trips and for special school events—so be sure to get yours! Place your order by June 14th when purchasing your school supply kit to receive free delivery to your child’s classroom. On the first day of school, your child's supplies will stay at their desk, and they'll bring all of their spirit items home. The Lipscomb Spirit Store is also open year-round for home delivery. Have ordering questions? Reach out to LESptotreasurer@gmail.com.
If you purchase spirit wear by June 14th you can pick up your spirit items at the Back to School Social on August 6th! School supply kits will still be sent to classrooms, ready for the first day.
Agendas are required for 3rd-5th graders only. If you purchase a school supply kit through LES, the kit will include an agenda for your student. If you do not purchase a school supply kit through LES, you will need to purchase an agenda (any brand is fine) for your student.
Can't remember if you have ordered supplies?...search 'Brentwood Promo' in your email or email President@LipscombPTO.com Thanks for supporting our School!
