We want to welcome our newest Bears and their families to the Lipscomb Elementary community!
We hope the checklist below will help guide you as you settle into our school.
to Do NOW and Over the summer:
1. Enroll Your Child(ren).
For the 2025/2026 school year, Kindergarten registration opens on March 17, 2025. Check out the Williamson County School (WCS) Enrollment page for details and important info. If you are new to WCS, you will need to request a Skyward Account in order to enroll your student. Families who have a current WCS student can register a new child in their existing Skyward account. Our district encourages all families to enroll by March 21 to ensure adequate time for scheduling.
2. Join Us for a Sneak Peek into Our Kindergarten Classes on April 11th.
3. Order School Supplies.
Our kindergarten teachers have thoughtfully put together a list of supplies each student will need for the year. To help lighten your load, we offer a free delivery service—your child’s supplies can be delivered straight to their classroom and ready to go on day one! This is a very popular service, and 85% of Lipscomb families order school supply kits. Simply place your order here by June 1st, and your child's supplies will be ready at their desk when they arrive on their first half day of Kindergarten. Enter your home address during checkout and select the "FREE DELIVERY" shipping option. Extra kits will not be available after June 1st, so be sure to place your order by then. If you prefer to shop for supplies yourself, you can see the Kindergarten student supply list by clicking on the second photo in the order link.
4. Order Lipscomb Gear.
Spirit items—like grade-level t-shirts, parent shirts, and accessories—are available on the same website as the school supply kits! We encourage all students to wear their Lipscomb grade-level t-shirts every Friday, as well as on field trips and for special school events—so be sure to get yours! Place your order by June 1st when purchasing your school supply kit to receive free delivery to your child’s classroom.
At checkout, just enter your home address and select the "FREE DELIVERY" shipping option. On the first day of school, your child's supplies will stay at their desk, and they'll bring all of their spirit items home. The Lipscomb Spirit Store is also open year-round for home delivery. Have ordering questions? Reach out to LESptotreasurer@gmail.com.
5. Book Your Kindergarten Assessment Appointment.
With ongoing enrollment, families can expect to hear from their assigned Kindergarten teacher by the end of July. Kindergarten student assessments will take place in person on August 1st and 4th, before the school year begins. These meetings help teachers get to know your child for a smooth transition into the classroom. Please sign up for your preferred time slot here.
6. Attend the Back to School Social.
Join us on July 31 from 3pm-5pm as we open our doors for the Back to School Social! All grade levels are invited to come meet the teachers and staff, get familiar with the school, and learn more about the year ahead. To help manage crowds, families with last names A–L are encouraged to attend from 3pm-4pm. Families with last names M-Z from 4pm-5pm.
